The Role
CAA Golf is looking for an Activation Manager to join our dynamic Sponsorships team. This role is responsible for maximizing our sponsorships to advance our complex brand architecture and will oversee the strategic planning and logistics for B2B and B2C hospitality events
Responsibilities
• Lead development of event activation plan based on business goals, objectives, and KPIs provided by client(s)
• Develop marketing and promotional plans to strategically utilize sponsorship assets including in-stadium LEDs, hospitality spaces, television, print, radio, on-site activation, and digital media
• Manage relationships with Zoomph and Neilson; analyze data to track and add value to sponsorship brand placements
• Manage a monthly report of brand exposures across enterprise-level sponsorships
• Manage inventory of interchangeable branding opportunities with each sponsorship
• Manage the execution of on-site promotional events
• Operate within budgetary constraints and track all expenditures
• Work as a part of a collaborative team collectively working towards a goal of advancing Employee Engagement efforts, Brand, Social Responsibility, and Growth across an extensive portfolio of sponsorships
• Work with brands' marketing teams to produce creative and engaging advertising materials
• Develop a creative content strategy that connects the brand's properties and platforms
• Maintain working relationships and negotiate with vendors
• Proactively seek out and gain knowledge of internal initiatives and identify opportunities to incorporate them into sponsorship portfolio campaigns and messaging
Qualifications
• 5+ years B2B and/or B2C events experience
• 3+ years of experience activating integrated sponsorships preferably within the sports space
• Strong experience negotiating with vendors
• Working knowledge of healthcare, sports, arts, and entertainment industries
• Demonstrated performance in garnering earned media through digital campaigns tying brands and sports/entertainment properties together
• Experience and knowledge of new media formats and social network marketing tactics
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong interpersonal communications skills and the ability to work alongside a collaborative group of functional leaders across the enterprise
