CAA Brand Management is currently seeking a full-time Business Affairs Executive (Manager, Legal & Business Affairs) to support the Legal & Business Affairs department of CAA Brand Management. The position will be located in the CAA Brand Management Mexico City office. The ideal candidate is a lawyer with 3+ years of experience at a top law firm, licensing agency and/or an in-house with experience in licensing, and it would be beneficial to have experience in intellectual property law. The role will cover a wide array of legal and business affairs support including: licensing, intellectual property, non-disclosure agreements, general corporate matters and compliance. The candidate will support the Head of Legal & Business Affairs, CAA Brand Management with executing the department strategy, support the LATAM region, as well as provide support to the global business as assigned, and other tasks. The ideal candidate must be thorough, thoughtful, detail-oriented, flexible, self-driven, collaborative and be able to prioritize and juggle multiple responsibilities. Compensation shall be commensurate with experience.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBLITIES:
• Act as primary legal & business affairs support to LATAM clients, as well as providing support to global clients as assigned, including working directly with the clients, as well as the internal team
• Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including license agreements, co-marketing agreements and others
• Support the Legal & Business Affairs group's overall goal of increasing organizational efficiency, compliance and achievement of business objectives in a manner that minimizes legal risk
• Proactively advise business on strategy of transactions of varying complexity and act as a thought partner for the business to enhance the value of transactions where possible
• Anticipate and identify potential issues for the Head of Legal & Business Affairs, CAA Brand Management and assist in developing strategies to solve such issues
• Foster positive long-term relationships with CAA Brand Management's colleagues and clients
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Strong academic background from top-tier law school and undergraduate institution.
• Lawyer with 3+ years of experience drafting and negotiating license agreements and/or related contracts.
• Must have strong business acumen to support internal and external client teams in achieving their goals.
• Fluency in oral and written English and Spanish is required.
• Experience at top law firm and/or in-house legal department in licensing and related transactions.
• Authorized to work in the location where practicing, and admission to the respective jurisdiction's bar.
• Excellent communication (written and oral), drafting and negotiation skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing business requirements.
• Ability to provide high-quality work product in a timely manner to meet demands of the organization and to effectively and efficiently multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Upbeat temperament, dynamic personality and highly team-oriented approach to work.
• Strong work ethic.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and Adobe Acrobat.
