The Role

CAA Brand Management is seeking a Finance , Global Client Manager to support the Commercial Finance team for day to day
operations. The candidate will work closely with the team members to ensure all client related financial processes, including but not limited to invoicing, accounts receivable tracking, cash receipts and payments application, royalty reports tracking and processing and reporting to internal and external stakeholders. The role will also assist the regional and global finance and business heads in providing valuable financial insights, including budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis and suggest ways of improvements in all areas.

Responsibilities
• Be the primary finance contact as Global Client Finance Lead for responsible clients to manage the financial aspects of relevant licensing programs
• Manage Commercial Finance Team with regional Finance Head to provide guidance, training and resolve issues in daily Commercial Finance Team tasks
• Review and ensure Trust Accounting process for the respective clients and licensees are handled timely with accurate results
• Review and ensure reporting to clients are properly prepared and submitted
on or before agreed timeline
• Review and alert internal and stakeholders for financial performance, risks and opportunities in multiple dimensions internally and externally
• Flag and escalate for financial risks and opportunities on the responsible clients, such as risk in accounts receivable collection and/or future deals guarantees
• Ensure reconciliation between the Royalty Reporting system ( Brand Comply ) and the AX B ooking R eport and take regional/client lead to support project to automated integration between the Royalty Reporting system and AX
• Assist in Group and entity audit together with financial accounting team
• Assist with special projects and ad-hoc requests, as necessary.

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting , Finance
or Business with an emphasis in accounting,
or a related field preferred.
• Global Finance experience preferred
• Attention to detail, able to work under pressure to deadlines and with initiative in a fast-paced environment
• Strong business acumen (financial and commercial)
• Hands-on problem solving approach
• Highly effective written and verbal communication skills at all levels, credibility with senior management
• Proactive with proven ability to motivate and manage team members
• Previous e xperience in licensing, royalty and/or agency related industries preferred, but not required
• Previous experience utilizing Brand Comply and MS Dynamics AX preferred, but not required
• Excellent computer skills; experience in accounting software, Microsoft
Office Suite, including advanced Excel skills.

Location

This role will be based out of the New York office.

Compensation: The annual base salary for this position is in the range of $90,000-120,000. This position also is eligible for benefits and discretionary bonus. Ultimately, the salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, business sector, and geographic location, among other criteria.
