The Role

Join our growing data team as we provide advanced data solutions and strategic analysis to enhance the creation of opportunity for world-class clients across Film, TV, Music, Sports, Digital Media, and beyond.

The highly adaptable Data Product Owner will work across Engineering, Insights, Data Science and Data Analytics teams, to define and execute vision, drive product roadmaps, analyze user research, prioritize enhancements and ensure product stability. The role is a cross-functional product owner who will be ready to work across a broad spectrum of initiatives, products, capabilities and stakeholders to drive adoption and product value realization.

Responsibilities
• Product Portfolio Ownership
• Manage the portfolio of internal CAA data products across Audience, Motion Pictures, Television, Corporate, and Live Music apps, as well as other analytics capabilities as they are developed
• Rapidly develop an intimate understanding of products, data sources, business workflows to determine the best opportunities for business impact
• Collaboration with the Scrum Master to log and prioritize product features
• Work within Agile structure and manage product backlogs via Kanban processes
• Support the delivery of new product releases, and ensure airtight testing/QA and stakeholder alignment
• Assist with requirements definition, design, and user alignment with product experiences
• Continuously evaluate change management strategies in order to drive users adoption and facilitate training
• Stakeholder Management
• Develop strong relationships with Insights, Data Science, and Analytics teams, and be deeply familiar with challenges currently facing each area
• Understand and embrace CAA's culture to ensure that it influences product management practices
• Work extremely closely with Data Engineering to ensure effective prioritization of capabilities and to collect and disseminate development statuses
• Ensure the seamless flow of work by solving problems that create blocks, fostering transparent communication between teams, and prioritizing work without disrupting work
• User Research
• Fully understand the business process for our user personas and analyze user journey, usage statistics, and feedback to prioritize features and create product roadmaps
• Stay ahead of industry best practices by conducting frequent market research

Required Capabilities
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Management or specialized training/certification preferred
• 3+ years of experience in product management, consulting, and working with successful data driven products
• Experience with working with PowerBI or other data visualization tools
• Extremely communicative with a strong capacity to translate complex concepts and educate multiple audiences on product issues and tradeoffs
• Experience with testing and quality assurance of data products
• Familiar with change management, training and user adoption strategies
• Deeply familiar with Agile and using Kanban practices to manage the prioritization and flow of work
• Cross-functional ability to work equally comfortably across engineering and business stakeholder groups
• Able to look beyond the day-to-day and to create a vision for future features and product roadmaps that will take capability and adoption to the next level
• Highly analytical and experience with using data to drive decisions
• Experience with Excel and PowerPoint
• No hesitation to roll up your sleeves and tackle something hands-on

You can work 100% remote with occasional travel to company meetings and events.
