The Role

CAA Brand Management is currently seeking a full-time Brand Protection Specialist in the Legal & Business Affairs department. The ideal candidate must be thorough, thoughtful, detail-oriented, flexible, self-driven and collaborative, and must able to prioritize and juggle multiple responsibilities.

Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement global brand protection strategy, including offline and online, for clients
• Work with clients to review trademark portfolio coverage and global customs recordals, and provide support in submitting new recordals
• Being point of contact with customs and law enforcement and conducting training
• Liaise with private investigators in key markets
• Evaluate on ongoing basis whether additional measures are needed, i.e., vendors, outside counsel, etc. and assess market leaders regarding counterfeits and infringers
• Develop relationships with key marketplace platforms, including also managing Amazon Brand Registry
• Stay up to date on counterfeit and infringement trends in the relevant key markets
• Maintain expertise in all licensed products of clients
• Other various related tasks and special projects as assigned

Qualifications:
• Strong academic background; Bachelors degree preferred
• At least 3 - 5+ years experience in a similar role focused on anti-counterfeiting and brand protection
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail/accuracy
• Ability to manage time effectively, multi task in fast paced environment, take instruction but also work independently to meet demands of the organization, demonstrative flexibility to support business with shifting priorities and ability to handle privileged, confidential and sensitive information in an appropriate and professional manner
• Upbeat temperament, dynamic personality and highly team-oriented approach to work
• Strong work ethic
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and Adobe Acrobat

Preferred Skills
• Prefer global experience, but would accept regional

Location

This role will be remote.

Compensation

The annual base salary for this position is in the range of $68,000-$88,000. This position also is eligible for benefits and discretionary bonus. Ultimately, the salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, business sector, and geographic location, among other criteria.
