The Role
The CAA Brand Consulting Senior Account Manager will play a key role in one of our largest Brand Consulting clients, a technology services company. The Senior Manager will lead the day-to-day management and activation of marquee sports properties in the brands portfolio. The candidate will interface day to day with the client and will work cross functionally with internal/external vendors, clients and agencies. This role will report to an Account Director.

CAA Brand Consulting is a strategy-led, full-service marketing agency with expertise in Cultural and Consumer Insights, Data and Analytics, Talent/Influencer and Property Partnership Advisory, Experiential, Social Impact, Creative Services, and Content and Digital Strategy. These integrated capabilities come together to offer solutions from planning through execution, and we pull in a collective perspective of expertise with each client brief to ensure we are tapping into diverse thinking and building strategies reflective of the marketplace and culture we work within.
Responsibilities:
Multi-Project Management
• Manage multiple projects, programs and budgets autonomously
• Oversee & facilitate the creative development process of marketing materials, experiential assets and event-related creative (includes briefing designers & obtaining internal & client approvals)
• Work with other team functions (e.g. Creative, Experiential, Social Impact, Insights / trends, etc.) to ensure goals and objectives are met
Building Client Trust
• Primary point of contact for client for assigned projects
• Create presentations for key meetings internally and externally
Building Strategic Partnerships
• Develop relationships across CAA to find and promote new opportunities to client
Management Skills
• Lead client presentation for projects
• Manage Account staff
• Manage budget development, cost projections, tracking & reconciling
• Track activation budgets with accountability for reporting
• Day to day management of existing marquee entertainment partnerships including communication directly with properties, organization of project plans and asset tracking documents
• Develop and deliver compelling written and verbal communications
Account Leadership
• Lead client calls and provides expert opinions
• Lead development of concepts & facilitate creative approval process
• Represent CAA Brand Consulting at key industry events
Initiative
• Assist with recommendation, negotiation and management of talent deals
Qualifications:
• BA or BS strongly preferred or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of relevant agency and/or property experience
• Ability to travel and be on site at events/games
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrate highest level of critical thinking with focus on proactiveness and attention to detail
• Expertise in managing projects and budgets
• University level sports and talent experience
• On-site/event management and production experience
• Excellent presentation skills
• Previous experience with managing and developing junior staff members
• Project management expertise
• Sustain relationships with clients and ability to build incremental business opportunities
• Understanding of the client's industry and latest developments and trends
Preferred Skills
• Experience managing and mentoring assistants and/or coordinators.
Location
This role will be based in the Los Angeles office. Hybrid schedule.
Compensation
The annual base salary for this position is in the range of $76,000 -$129,100. This position also is eligible for benefits and discretionary bonus. Ultimately, the salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, business sector, and geographic location, among other criteria.
