The Role

CAA is seeking an Associate based in Los Angeles for a unique and highly visible position at the company. The Associate will play a critical role in evaluating potential investment and acquisition opportunities across the media & entertainment landscape. The position will report to CAA's Head of M&A, and also work closely with the Chief Financial Officer. Primary responsibilities include: conducting due diligence, execution of investment opportunities, building financial models, creating and presenting investment and strategy memos, and performing other critical tasks as directed.

Key Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree required
• 2+ years of work experience as an Investment Banking Analyst (Media experience is preferred, but not required)
• Interest in the media, entertainment, and sports industries and a passion to learn
• Strong financial modeling skills for highly quantitative analyses
• Independent thinker with a point of view on the risks and rewards of new investment opportunities and strategic initiatives
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Attention to detail in all deliverables
• Strong work ethic with a high level of responsiveness
• Ability to manage deadlines with a high level of responsibility and autonomy
