OVERVIEW

We have an exciting opportunitiy for a talented Account Director to join our growing team in London. We are seeking a capable and confident operator with experience developing and implementing integrated marketing campaigns in sport, preferably Football.

THE ROLE

This is an exciting and dynamic senior role working with a global airline, helping to activate, innovate and optimise multiple sponsorships across their portfolio globally.

Working alongside an Associate Director, the Account Director will need to draw upon their knowledge and experience working in sports marketing, to help advise and guide the client in utilising and optimising its contractual rights and assets to deliver results with impact.

We are looking for a strategically-minded account leader with experience in managing a team across multiple global partnerships. Someone who can not only demonstrate the requisite organisational skills and attention to detail to manage an account but also the passion and confidence to bring fresh and innovative thinking to help our client achieve its commercial and brand objectives.

As the CAA Brand Consulting business continues to grow, the individual will also have the opportunity to work on additional projects.

Main Responsibilities to include, but limited to:
• Assist Associate Director with day-to-day operations, client reporting and budgeting.
• Build strong relationships with senior clients, rights holders and suppliers from the word 'go'.
• Develop an actionable strategy that maximises partnership assets and aligns with brand and business objectives.
• Support development of campaign creative, positioning and channel strategy based on audience insights.
• Project manage campaign activations from ideation to execution across owned, earned, shared and paid digital channels.
• Event management and logistics including talent appearances, internal engagement and VIP customer experiences.
• Liaise with rights holder to track, schedule and manage partnership rights and assets.
• Be accountable to client KPI's and measure campaign effectiveness to demonstrate ROI.
• Act as a consultant, advising and guiding the client on best practice and processes to drive the sponsorship to new heights
• Monitoring the latest trends in sport, technology and Web3.
• Networking events and supporting with business development when required.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
• Must have significant agency or in-house experience at a client/campaign lead level.
• Demonstrable exposure to strategic decision making, campaign planning, communications, asset development and amplification and event management is vital.
• Experience in digital marketing, including devising and implementing global digital campaigns.
• A keen interest / experience in Football is advantageous but not critical.
• Experience liaising with global markets is advantageous.
• Strong interpersonal skills and best in class client servicing, account handling and project management.
• Strong people management skills and experience of direct line management to multiple team members.
• Must have an organised and detail-oriented approach with the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines, juggling multiple projects simultaneously.
• Team player with the ability to work autonomously.
• Creative flair with a passion for ideas and innovative thinking.
• Confident presentation skills, verbal and written with a strong attention to detail.
