This is a full-time position in a hybrid (remote and in-office) environment located in Los Angeles. We are seeking a strategic and creative Social Media and Communications Manager to lead the development and execution of our digital content strategy, manage communications initiatives, and oversee day-to-day operations across social platforms. This role requires a strong storyteller with a deep understanding of digital trends, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage both creative and administrative functions across a dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media Strategy & Content Leadership
· Develop and execute a social media strategy that aligns with business goals to drive engagement, brand awareness, and audience growth
· Create and edit social media content including short- form video across platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, X, and Threads
· Write scroll stopping captions, copy and hooks that align with the brand voice and objectives
· Ensure consistent brand messaging and visual identity across all digital channels
· Create and manage the editorial calendar
· Monitor social media trends and platform updates to keep content innovative and relevant
Performance & Optimization
· Analyze performance metrics and audience insights to inform content strategy and optimize campaigns
· Provide regular reporting and strategic recommendations to senior leadership
· Oversee the use of analytics tools to track KPIs and measure ROI
Communications & Asset Management
· Manage internal systems for tracking marketing and communications assets, including logos, press kits, photography, promotional videos, and trailers
· Lead the submission process for domestic and international awards, including managing the awards calendar and coordinating required materials
· Ensure accurate and timely sharing of visuals, artwork, and promotional content for award submissions and media use
· Lead or support special projects, including PR event logistics, sponsorship coordination, and marketing activations
Team Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
· Collaborate with internal departments to align content with broader marketing campaigns and business goals
· Support the communications team with scheduling, meeting coordination, and administrative needs
Community Engagement & Brand Growth
· Build and nurture a quality follower base that supports brand visibility and lead generation
· Travel to events to produce real-time content and manage on-site communications
· Brainstorm and implement strategies to attract new audiences and expand digital reach
Qualifications
· 4+ years of experience in social media management, digital marketing, or communications
· Proven experience developing and executing multi-platform content strategies
· Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills
· Proficiency in video production and editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro)
· Experience with social media analytics and reporting tools
· Exceptional organizational and project management skills
· Ability to lead initiatives independently and collaborate cross-functionally
