The Job

The senior director of this team will direct the onslaught of daily talent booking requests across TS & BR. They will ingest all internal requests on linear and digital which seek to implement players, veterans, celebrities and influencers/creators in the ongoing rotation of content. Internal requests for famous faces will be directed to this focus area so that they can activate a plan for outreach amongst the Guest Bookings & Special Projects team, with additional assistance provided from Talent Relations.

The Daily
• Independently manages and directs all guest talent requests across linear and digital platforms as to secure top-tier names for premier content offerings. Provides guidance/partnership/support to the talent relations team.
• Directs and controls all primary functions of the guest bookings team related to guest talent, including contract negotiations, content development and internal planning across linear and digital platforms.
• Establishes strategic talent plans and objectives; aids in development of long-range planning including relationship building with major talent personalities (players, veterans, celebrities, influencers/creators, etc).
• Oversees budgets and planning deadlines; directly manages a team of 5+ staffers
• Provides ongoing counsel to leadership regarding talent issues, planning and strategy

The Essentials
• 15+ years experience working with sports teams and/or leagues
• 10+ years experience managing an internal team
• 10+ experience with negotiations and working with agents/agencies
• Previous experience with influencers/creators preferred
• Vast knowledge of the sports and entertainment space with credible industry contacts

The Nice to Haves

Experience working in the betting and/or NHL space is a plus
