We are seeking a Regional Vice President of Sales with a proven track record in leading a high performing sales team while strategically developing/selling multi-platform programs that include branded content, tentpole cultural experiences/sponsorships, and digital media. Possessing a passion for music is an absolute plus. Responsibilities required yet not limited to….
• Lead a regional team of sellers while overseeing advertising sales activities; accountable for achieving/ exceeding targeted advertising sales revenue for the market and for controlling sales expenses
• Meet with key accounts; go on sales calls and conduct in-field coaching to develop sellers
• Collaborate with the brand leaders to create sales packaging, pricing and go to market strategy
• Direct sales activities, create and/or manage sales rep territory or account assignments to minimize potential channel conflict between corporate and PMC brand sellers
• Set sales goals and guide subsequent goal-setting processes. Prepare budgets and revenue forecasts for corporate finance group
• Liaise with our Brand Studio, Talent Relations, Editorial Content, Marketing, Revenue Operations, Audience Research and other corporate resources and teams to ensure success
• Recruit, hire and ensure ongoing training and development of Account Executives

Qualifications
• Position based in New York, preferably, but could also be Los Angeles.
• Specialties and experience in Tech (all platforms and hardware), Auto, QSR a major plus
• Demonstrated and proven track record in sourcing, developing, pitching, closing, and renewing partnerships who are new or existing
• Ability to quickly leverage and activate key decision maker relationships including direct marketing partner and agency-based clients from brand manager, media planner, to c-level
• Proven aptitude and capability to sell and lead asymmetrically in a constantly changing dynamic
• Expert knowledge related to direct, custom, and programmatic inventory and pricing and related business models
• Proven leadership, presentation, and coaching ability; can successfully coach others in sales practices; Proven collaborator that will work closely with Sr. Sales Executives across PMC in a non-competitive environment
• Deep understanding of key markets, customers, and competitors in order to target needs and drive sales; Can create productive, long-term customer relationships
• Adept as entrepreneurial self-starter, can push self and others to achieve and excel in a fast-paced dynamic environment
• Excellent ability to organize, prioritize, and multitask, excellent business and people decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and influencing skills across multiple groups
• Excellent interpersonal skills and collaboration with others

Work Experience
• 8+ years' experience as Sales Team Leader in digital media or publishing industry with proven track record of success
• Has previously worked at a publisher or platform where 360 partnerships are the core of product offering
• Open to being a player coach to start then developing into full National VP of Sales

Typical wage range: $180k - $220k plus quarterly paid commission for achieving specific individual & team revenue targets. Factors that could be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, years of experience and comparison to current employees already in this role. The typical candidate is hired below midpoint of the range. The total compensation package for this position will also include other elements, a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits including 401(k) eligibility and paid time off benefits.
