The BET Media Group is seeking a Brand Solutions Manager to join the team! In this role you are a dynamic and creative problem solver who will be a key member of a flourishing team dedicated to conceptualizing and implementing premier, custom marketing solutions for BET's advertising partners that will drive revenue. This includes rapid response to RFPs with uniquely creative ideas and well-informed presentations. From editorial programs to new ad products, to custom BET Original sponsorships and in-show integrations, you'll align our advertisers with innovative solutions on BET.

• You will support our Advertising Sales team by coordinating and handle sales requests and develop custom RFP proposals.
• Collaborate with sales, creative teams, and internal data analysts such as audience development team to develop comprehensive marketing strategies that meet client goals and KPIs.
• Develop and lead best-in-class ad sales opportunities and sponsorship programs that drive client KPIs, as well as to help streamline and evolve internal processes and tools improving speed to market and effectiveness.
• Act as face of BET Media Group's Integrated Marketing within sales and client meetings, present and advise on BET's sponsorship opportunities.
• Work with campaign management teams to ensure smooth transition from pre- to post-sale.
• Develop and maintain internal and external facing sponsorship tools, materials and collateral.
• Use market research, competitive analysis, and audience insights to find opportunities and recommend effective marketing strategies.
• Work with internal teams to plan, implement, and optimize digital advertising campaigns across various platforms across digital and social media.
• Develop and present clear performance reports to clients, highlighting key insights, successes, and areas for improvement.
• Monitor and analyze digital performance metrics, such as engagement rates, click-through rates, conversion rates, and ROI, and make data-driven recommendations for campaign enhancements.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in digital, social, linear marketing, sharing insights and recommendations with the team.
• Work closely with the analytics teams to identify trends and opportunities for optimization, driving towards continuous improvement of campaign outcomes.
• Stay current with platform updates and changes, adjusting strategies as needed to maintain alignment with platform algorithms and guidelines.
• Must be multifaceted with the ability to multitask to support the Brand Solutions managers and production team in order to successfully bring a campaign to life to support the Ad Sales team as a whole.
• Flexibility with work hours, and overnight/weekend travel, as required for project activation.

This role will report to the Vice President, Brand Solutions and work out of the New York, NY office on a hybrid basis!

Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree
• 3+ years of experience in marketing and/or promotions with proven track record in ad sales marketing and sponsorships

Additional Qualifications
• Knowledge and experience for how to apply marketing strategy to creative ideas and campaign activation across all platforms (linear, digital, mobile, social and event marketing)
• Understanding of community management and fan engagement on social platforms and experience writing social copy with a platform intentional approach
• Self-starter, that can handle many projects, prioritize work assignments, meet deadlines, and work autonomously in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational skills, project management skills and detail oriented
• Superb communication skills (written and verbal), PowerPoint and Excel
• Relentlessly positive approach and well-developed problem-solving skills
• Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to multitask and balance a demanding workload
• Strategic and creative idea development skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail
• Successful experience communicating with clients and agency partners
• Resourceful and capable to find innovative solutions to complex problems, with limited resources

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Hiring Salary Range: $74,400.00 - 93,000.00.

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement. This position is bonus eligible.
