JOB TITLE:
Coordinator, Website & Ballpark App
Baltimore Orioles seek a Coordinator, Website & Ballpark App reporting to the Manager, Digital Experience. The position will assist with all projects related to Orioles.com, MLB Ballpark App and additional digital projects. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
• Coordinate and maintain Orioles.com UX and UI updates with page design, page builds, and daily content updates
• Support Orioles and MLB editorial and production staff to ensure optimal collaboration and following best digital practices
• Familiar with search engine optimization and best practices to implement on Orioles.com
• Research and collaborate on maintaining the best user experience for Orioles.com and the MLB Ballpark App
• Assist with internal stakeholders and MLB to develop and coordinate Ballpark App short and long-term goals including user experience, page design and builds and content updates
• Develop Push/Inbox notification editorial calendar to deploy on gamedays
• Ensure all sponsorship obligations are included on Orioles.com, MLB App, and MLB Ballpark App
• Work with Marketing Research and Performance to track and report key performance indicators
• Ideate and think creatively to help achieve the team and club goals
• Other duties as assigned
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Digital Marketing, Communications, Business/Marketing or related field
• 1-2 years relevant experience
• Strong understanding of current online marketing concepts, strategies, and best practices
• Proactive thinker with solutions-oriented mentality in positioning the Orioles' Digital presence as second-to-none
• Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills with a strong attention to detail
• Ability to handle multiple priorities, prioritize and problem solve, and manage time effectively within a fast-paced environment
• Initiative to thrive in team atmosphere and individual basis
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator or similar photo editing software
• Previous experience assisting and managing digital platforms within a Content Management System (CMS)
• Ability to work flexible hours including weeknights, weekends and holidays
