Overview

Audacy is seeking an organized, detail oriented and outgoing professional to lead our Promotions + Experiences team in promotions, contesting and events in the Tri-State Region (New York & Wilkes-Barre Scranton), including but not limited to the following formats: Sports, Alternative, Top 40, Hot AC, News/Talk, Rock, Classic Hits, and more. This position is rooted in collaboration across multiple departments and teams.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do:
• Lead collaboration across multiple departments including Promotion, Programming, Sales, Public Relations and Creative Departments to ensure stations positioning/branding is reflected in all marketing, imaging, promotions & digital media to build to build successful revenue generating campaigns
• Develop, ideate and execute brand and sales promotions with marketing partners & Sports play-by-play in the region, including but not limited to: LiveNation, AEG, New York Yankees, New York Mets, New York Giants and Brooklyn Nets
• Spearhead station brand development in conjunction with specific Brand Managers and SVP/GM including paid Out-Of-Home & Digital campaigns
• Liaison to National Promotions & Experiences Group as it relates to O&O and partnership events while communicating sellable assets to local sales team
• Oversee and ensure all on-air promo commitments are fulfilled such as client sponsorship, charitable, record label and marketing requests
• Engage with talent to execute promotional initiatives and campaigns
• Manage Contesting Software platform, regional promotional budget and community initiatives alongside direct reports
• Oversee all event and artist performance agreements and contracts, working directly with legal and applicable department heads
• Proficient in asset management software and sponsorship valuation tools (ex: Zudy Vinyl) and promotion management software (PromoSuite, Aptivada, etc..), and more
• Work closely with the team and the corporate legal department to ensure all contests and promotions meet company requirements/guidelines
• General Marketing and Promotions activity and special projects as needed
• Attend sales meetings, client meetings, station meetings as needed

Qualifications

Skills/Attributes
• First-rate organizational skills are a must to succeed in this position+
• Experience working in fast paced environment able to juggle multiple projects simultaneously
• Demonstrated oral and written communication skills
• Strong problem-solving skills ability to articulate goals and timeline clearly to team
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and multi-task
• Experience using Google Workspaces
• Knowledge of promotion software, including but not limited to Vibes (mobile contesting), Aptivada (web contesting and user-generated content engine) and PromoSuite (promotion management software)
• Occasional night or weekend work
• Five years' experience executing marketing and promotions campaigns
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or Communications preferred and/or equivalent experience and training
