Overview

BetQL, an Audacy company, is looking for a QA Lead to join its team.

Responsibilities

What you'll do:

As a QA Lead at BetQL, you'll ensure the delivery of high-quality software for BetQL. You'll be responsible for building and executing a quality strategy and plans across multiple products and platforms. You'll also debug issues across the hardware and software stack including mobile apps, web, and other corporate internet services. You'll work to build test environments and implement tests working closely with software engineers. You'll have intimate knowledge of current issues, build heat maps and bug burn-downs, along with track and report detailed metrics to key stakeholders which would lead to go/no-go decisions per milestone. The ideal candidate is a quality assurance leadership expert and a detail-oriented QA engineer who has strong communication skills. The candidate should also have a passion for building great software products and excellent enterprise client experience. You will ensure the release of BetQL products that will delight our customers. Ability to lead testing of implementations of enterprise processes including provisioning, device management, security, application entitlement, content management, and Bluetooth services. The position also requires the ability to create support documentation and onboarding materials.

Responsibilities:
• Build a test-driven engineering and development culture that drives improvements in quality
• Implement process changes to scale testing efforts across multiple products
• Plan, develop and execute test coverage for multiple platforms
• Debug issues, report defects, and propose regression tests to discover reoccurrences
• Implement tests that provide fast and high signal indicators that make it easy for engineers to fix bugs
• Work with engineers and project leads to triage and prioritize issues for resolution
• Identify, test, track and report KPI trends over the course of the project
• Work along-side software engineers, program managers, and QA to triage issues and make go/no-go decisions
• Partner with automation and infrastructure team to leverage automation to allow better reliability and scalability

Qualifications

About you:

Required:
• BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Experience working on IT systems in an enterprise environment
• Experience leading QA Engineers and contract workers
• Experience building test and staging environments and defining and co-leading releases
• Experience with reporting and presenting detailed and summarized statuses
• Experience debugging applications on the web, and mobile
• Experience coding in Python, Javascript, Java, or equivalent language Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in managing black box and white box testing
• Experience in building tools to debug issues across the software stacks
• Experience reporting progress and results to stakeholders
