Overview

This position will be approximately 25 hours per week and requires the delivery of a professional over-the-air newscast for 106.3 WORD. Hours will be mostly late afternoon weekdays.

Responsibilities

The position requires strong verbal and written communication skills, the ability to speak clearly, multi-task in a fast-paced environment, and mastery of social media platforms and digital content creation. QualificationsThe successful applicant will have substantial news writing skills and proficiency with digital editing software. This is an excellent opportunity to join a premier local news/talk station for a person with skills listed above who can think and react quickly and calmly in a fast-paced news environment. *A valid driver's license, satisfactory completion of a motor vehicle record check, and, if the position requires use of applicant's own vehicle, proof of insurance, is required.
