Overview

The Marc Cox Morning Show on 97.1 FM Talk is looking to add a member to the team! The perfect person for this role will be familiar with the brand, comfortable joining an established team, and excited to provide thought-provoking content to a passionate audience.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do:
• Research topics for AM drive show relevant to the listening audience
• Co-host/contribute on-air and via social media on a daily basis
• Assist the show producer with daily strategies, story angles, and guest ideas/acquisition
• Communicate daily with co-host, producer, and program director to ensure program goals are met
• Perform live news and sportscasts
• Work closely with the digital content producer to maximize the show and station's digital presence
• Maintain strong contacts and relationships
• Coordinate with sales and clients
• Other duties as required by management

Qualifications

Required & Preferred:
• Synergy with co-host and ability to work on multi-host show
• Knowledge of the format and audience
• Must be an excellent communicator with strong creative skills
• Excellent on-air voice with demonstrated track record
• Strong working knowledge of studio equipment
