Overview

The HR Manager has proven ability to interface with and influence employees and managers of all levels to ensure compliance standards are upheld. The HR Manager is a skilled and detail oriented project manager with strong organizational skills and a passion to utilize technology to support HR-related processes. The position will support the Regional HR Director, local markets and corporate business units by providing solutions to employee-related matters, maintaining a balance between being a strategic business partner and employee advocate. This position will continuously challenge the status quo and develop initiatives. This position will be located in New York. Hybrid work schedule (office and remote),

Responsibilities

What You'll Do:
• First escalation point for clients in resolving conflicts/complaints. Conducts thorough, objective and prompt investigations, prepares findings and resolutions for review by the Director of Human Resources. Coaches and advises management on performance management and corrective action matters.
• Facilitate the onboarding process, coordinating with the line of business, IT, and space planning to provide a welcoming experience for new hires to Audacy.
• Oversee of the employee life cycle changes and process, including, job changes, salary changes, supervisor changes, terminations, and more.
• Manage the off boarding process, the exit interviews, capture trends and make recommendations to HR and business leadership for improvement.
• Assist the HR leadership to execute workforce initiatives such as reduction in force, restructures, acquisitions and headcount modeling.
• Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to improve efficiency and culture.
• Research and stay current with applicable laws in the markets where we operate.
• Serve as an extension of the central team to ensure compliance of COVID-19 protocols, OSHA, Anti-Harassment training, EEO, FMLA/ADA, labor law posters, MVR violations, policy acknowledgements and other government reporting are completed.
• Partner with the central team on the annual open enrollment process andWorkers compensation claims.
• Manage and lead special projects as requested.

Qualifications

About You:
• Bachelor's degree and or PHR preferred
• Minimum of 3-5 years' of relevant experience, preferably within a generalist or HR operations capacity.
• Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to influence and communicate effectively across all levels of an organization.
• Ability to manage multiple and competing demands.
• Successful track record of designing and implementing people programs.
• Demonstrated progression and increased scope in a matrixed organization.
• Deep business acumen in building and growing a business while providing ongoing development and support to employees.
• Must possess knowledge of state and federal laws, regulations and requirements related to employment
• Union knowledge preferred
• Value-oriented behavior – trustworthiness, good listener, high integrity and maintaining strict confidence.
• Track record of leadership, driving accountability across the HR function, and a hands-on approach to problem solving.

Additional Information

Pay Transparency:

The anticipated salary range for individuals expressing interest in this position will be based on multiple factors including geographic location, education, experience, knowledge, skills & abilities. The salary range for candidates located in New York City is $75,000-$95,000*
