Overview

The Human Resources Generalist is an integral part of our corporate human resources team. In conjunction with the corporate HR team, legal team and benefits team, the HR Generalist ensures the company's compliance obligations and procedures are met while providing general HR and benefits support. The ideal candidate has broad experience in managing policies and programs and working knowledge of all federal and local employment laws as well as employee benefits programs.

The HR Generalist has proven ability to interface with and influence employees and managers of all levels to ensure compliance standards are upheld. The HR Generalist is a skilled and detail oriented project manager with strong organizational skills and a passion to utilize technology to support HR-related processes.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do:

HR Compliance:
• Implements policies and procedures to ensure all company compliance obligations are upheld.
• Maintains up to date employee handbook including various state specific supplements to the handbook. Ensures proper documentation and tracking of handbook distributions
• Ensures all annual training obligations are met such as Anti-Harassment, EEO, FMLA/ADA, OFCCP, etc. which may include partnering with a vender to implement, create content, track completion records, and more.
• Researches and stay current with applicable laws in the markets where we operate.
• Ensures all annual reporting obligations are fulfilled including FCC EEO reports, EEOC1, OFCCP, VETS, Pay Data, and more.
• Partners with vendor to manage motor vehicle background checks for all new hires and rechecks for current employees.
• Partners with vendor to create Affirmative Action Plans, provide guidance to managers to ensure required activities are fulfilled, track progress of good faith efforts to reach annual AAP goals.
• Partners with the legal team to recommend changes to existing policies and draft and/or develop new policies based on legislative and regulatory developments, provides guidance, notification and communication to employees and managers when necessary.
• Manage and lead special projects as requested.

Benefits:
• Provide support to our Benefits Department by answering employee questions about benefits, direct employees to the right resources, assist with claims resolution when necessary.
• Provide assistance during the annual open enrollment process to include review and development of communication, assist with testing the benefits administration platform, partnering with our vendors, updating our intranet site, and more.
• Assist with annual 401(k) audit by gathering requested data.
• Act as back up to our Benefits and Leave Administrator providing assistance to employees applying for a leave of absence.
• Process benefit vendor invoices.
• Assist Sr. Director of Benefits with other projects and tasks as needed

Human Resources
• Process employee onboarding, to include data entry in the HRIS system, coordinating with IT, and act as main point of contact for welcoming employee to Audacy.
• Handle all ongoing employee data changes in the HRIS including job changes, salary changes, supervisor changes, terminations, and more.
• Assist the Regional HR Director with fulfilling employee terminations, handle off-boarding processes.
• Be the main point of contact for handling employee inquiries through our ticket system.
• Assist with special projects as needed.

Qualifications

More About You:

Required:
• Bachelor's Degree is required, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 3 years in a Human Resources role
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, project management skills
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects while working independently.
• Ability to partner with internal HR team members, business leaders, and in-house counsel to drive compliance and HR-related projects forward

Preferred:
• Experience managing third party vendors, preferred
• Previous benefits experience and working knowledge of 401k, benefits plan designs and FMLA, preferred
• FCC Broadcast / Media experience, preferred
