Overview

Audacy Los Angeles has a very special opening. We are looking for an inspirational, experienced and accomplished General Sales Manager to lead and inspire our advertising sales efforts. You must have a passion for music, digital media, podcasts and innovation. The person in this role will help influence the revenue growth of our seven (7) highly influential radio stations by increasing existing business and converting new business. They will also be responsible pushing our podcast, streaming, mobile, digital, social, events and OTT sales forward.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do:
• Responsible for day-to-day operations and achieving revenue goals
• Effectively manage a direct team of 8-10 Account Executives
• Create sales opportunities utilizing all of are available platforms
• Assist in overall tone and direction of department and set department priorities
• Attend face-to-face calls with Accounts Executives
• Help control and manage department expenses
• Motivate and train staff
• Provide weekly revenue/pacing reports to Director of Sales
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications

More About You:

Required:
• Minimum 5+ years General Sales Manager experience in radio and/or digital, podcasting, streaming and social
• Must know how to motivate in today's changing environment, can manage inventory as well as people, and bring new ideas to generate revenue
• Strong background in Strategic Account Management, sales training/leadership, pricing and budgeting required
• 4 year degree preferred

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. A valid driver's license, satisfactory completion of a motor vehicle record check, and, if the position requires use of applicant's own vehicle, proof of insurance, is required.
