Overview

The Affiliate Relations Manager is responsible for developing, managing, and maintaining relationships with affiliate partners to drive revenue and audience growth for Texas State Networks (TSN). The Affiliate Relations Manager works directly with both programming and sales to create and leverage programming and revenue opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in affiliate marketing, strong relationship-building skills, and a passion for radio and digital media. Although this isn't primarily an on-air role, candidates with previous experience on-air in a broadcast environment will be strongly considered.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do:
• Develop and manage relationships with affiliate partners, including negotiating and managing affiliate agreements.
• Develops strategies to help internal and external local and network sales teams achieve revenue and client campaign successes.
• Works with TSN Brand Manager and affiliates to develop new content offerings and revenue opportunities.
• Create and implement affiliate marketing campaigns.
• Track and analyze affiliate program performance.
• Provide ongoing support and training to affiliates.
• Develop affiliate marketing strategies.
• Manage affiliate payments and invoices.
• Participate in content-gathering and on-air presentation as needed/able.
• Attend industry events and conferences.

Qualifications

More About You:

Skills and Qualifications:
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of basic networking concepts, IP addressing, and network troubleshooting, to identify and resolve network connectivity issues with XDS receivers.
• Experience with affiliate marketing platforms and tools.
• Knowledge of online marketing and advertising techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Required & Preferred:
• Experience in the broadcast and/or digital media industry
• Previous on-air or programming experience in a broadcast media environment
• Knowledge of the Texas radio landscape
• Strong understanding of digital media and marketing trends
• Previous media sales experience and/or previous broadcast operational experience.
• A valid driver's license, satisfactory completion of a motor vehicle record check, and, if the position requires use of applicant's own vehicle, proof of insurance, is required.
