Job Description

About Us

Apartment D Films is a scrappy stop motion studio based in Burbank, CA. While we focus on high action, Saturday morning cartoon inspired stop motion, we’ve been known to work in just about every medium. Our clients range from toy companies to top YouTubers to Nickelodeon. While we’ve grown a lot in the last few years, we still have big ambitions and are looking for someone who can grow alongside us. At our heart, we’re a company of nerds and weirdos: we play Magic the Gathering, talk about obscure anime series and watch Cats 2019 every year for Christmas. But don’t let that fool you, we’re an award winning studio working with some of the most talented and passionate artists in the industry. We strive for excellence and growth, not just from ourselves but from the incredible, diverse team of people we work with.

The Production/Office Coordinator is involved in a broad spectrum of responsibilities, both client facing and internal. You will work closely with the CEO and Head of Production. You will be trained in production scheduling and management and help organize productions from the ground up. In addition, you will assist our CEO in the day to day operations of the studio. You’ll help with talent acquisition, facilities management, and learn the ins and outs of keeping a 6000 sq/ft studio operational.

The ideal candidate is a skilled multi-tasker and self-motivated problem solver, with strong organizational and written communication skills. Basic proficiency with Google Sheets is a must.
