What We Are Looking For

We are seeking a Contract Administrator to work within our Contracts department, specifically supporting Music and Comedy Touring.

Duties
• Issue contracts and supporting documents to promoter companies and venues
• Maintain database of contract information in booking system, including incoming contracts, supporting documents, and payments as negotiated by APA for Music and Comedy Touring departments
• Communicate with agents and client representatives regarding status of contracts, deposits, settlements, and client payments/invoices while understanding the importance of confidentiality and professionalism
• Provide clerical assistance to department as needed
• Accounts payable: process client checks/wires and prepare payments
• Accounts receivable: commission collections, generating invoices and settlements, following up on outstanding payments

Skills And Qualifications
• Strong organizational skills: impeccable ability to multi-task and prioritize work to meet deadlines
• Strong attention to detail: resourceful, proactive, reliable, trustworthy, and assertive
• Impeccable follow-through: the ability to initiate projects, develop timelines, and meet deadlines
• Ability to maintain discretion and a high level of confidentiality
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills with colleagues, promoters, and vendors
• Interest in entertainment industry

Education And Experience
• 1-2 years of professional experience in the entertainment industry preferred
• Prior experience with live music and/or comedy for venue, promoter, and/or artist preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
• Proficiency in Opus is a plus
