Job summary
Shopbop is looking for a detail-oriented individual with an operational mindset. The Styling Closet Coordinator will oversee the flow of product coming in and out of our closet and manage its overall organization. As a leader in the styling closet, this role will ensure standard operating procedures are followed, identify inefficiencies in workflow and drive continuous improvements. The ideal candidate will have strong time management skills, exceptional organizational sense and strong delegation skills. This role supports the editorial styling team in our Brooklyn studio.
Responsibilities:
• Manage overall workflow and organization in styling closet.
• Provide analytical and logistical expertise to workflows and develop solutions that streamline processes and improve efficiencies.
• Serve as a first point of contact for styling operations, coordinating with production on styling arrangements to ensure creative deadlines are met.
• Maintain quality control oversight and ensure highest standards on all closet related tasks and functions.
• Oversee freelancer training and manage freelance scheduling and booking.
• Lead daily workflow meetings and communicate priority tasks and statuses to styling team and freelancers.
• Own creation of monthly style-out schedule based on creative shoot calendar and inventory timing.
• Oversee organization and preparation for style-outs and fittings for photoshoots.
• Provide hands-on support with incoming and outgoing product, as needed.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required
• Acute attention to detail, accuracy, and organization.
• Strong ability to delegate and problem-solve.
• Ability to resolve complex issues and communicate workflow status and concerns to styling and creative teams.
• Ability to work well under pressure, multitask, and adhere to deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency with Excel
• Demonstrated knowledge of computer skills and ability to learn new computer applications.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Knowledge of Fashion GPS
• Professional experience in a high volume, high production operations environment
• Experience providing daily leadership/ direction of a team/function
