The Prime Video Direct team hiring a Content Review Specialist to join a team of talented and dedicated individuals responsible for determining the type of content Prime Video wishes to have on its service. This role will involve analyzing TV and Movies and determining which titles drive the most value for customers and Prime Video, and which offer types (TVOD, SVOD, AVOD) we may want to license content for. You will partner with internal content acquisition, operations, and tech teams to test and scale analytical models and tools that help grow the selection of quality, highly engaging content on Prime Video. Additionally, this role will find innovative and efficient ways to solve customer pain points at root cause and driving insights that lead to new product solutions. This person will work cross functionally with counterparts in engineering, content operations, and product management to help drive coverage of film assets, metadata, and quality.
Your team will be operationally and strategically focused on supporting the growth of the business and will find new ways to drive growth and scale using technology.
A successful candidate will be able to show demonstrated success in operating with and developing scalable processes, demonstrating high judgement on ambiguous edge cases, analyzing large data sets, and discovering insights from data. Experience with SQL a plus. They will be customer obsessed and consistently look for opportunities to enhance the customer experience by using scalable technology. This person should be organized and able to use mechanisms to drive productivity and actionable insights. A good candidate will have strong written and verbal communications skills, as well as an entrepreneurial spirit, the ability to influence others, and a passion for digital video. Additionally, this person must be able to balance operational and strategy work to deadlines.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience with Excel
• 2+ years experience in program or project management
• 2+ years of professional work experience in a television/entertainment industry position
• Experience following, executing, and developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights
• 3+ years relevant experience in financial/business analysis
• Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders
• Experience with Microsoft Excel & SQL
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Success in learning and understanding online tools and systems (knowledge of Paragon a plus)
• Demonstrated ability for being detail-oriented, self-motivated and driving follow-through on projects
• Experience working in media and/or marketplace business models
• Familiarity with technical aspects of digital businesses
• High bias for action to execute and continuously improve upon the status quo
• BIG PLUS if fluent in additional languages (German, Japanese, French, Portuguese, Italian, and/or Spanish)
