Currently in beta in the US, Amp's evolving how people discover and share music. Create a show, call-in, or bop along to some tunes – no subscription, additional hardware, or editing needed.

Amp is on the bleeding-edge of consumer-facing products, where every team member is a critical voice in the decision-making process. We build systems that will be distributed around the world, spanning mobile apps and voice-forward experiences on Amazon Echo devices, powered by Alexa. The Amp team is looking for team members across a variety of functions, including software engineering/development, product, marketing, design, and more. Come make history, as we expand and launch Amp for millions of listeners.

This role can be located in Los Angeles, New York, or Atlanta.

Key job responsibilities
We are looking for an experienced people manager to lead and grow our Partner Management team. This team engages directly with artists/talent partners to deepen relationships and provide day-to-day support, focused on driving growth, development, and retention.

We're looking for an entrepreneurial candidate who enjoys innovating on behalf of customers and demonstrates a high degree of ownership. The ideal candidate has experience growing and scaling a team, and developing strategies and playbooks from zero-to-one. We'd like a quantitative thinker and creative problem solver with exceptional judgment, and the ability to lead a team to deliver business results.
• Lead the team responsible for artist/talent development and managed services by driving long term strategy
• Define and evolve early operating processes and business practices by establishing best-in-class support for artist partners, from long-tail to more well-known artists
• Construct strategic account management and lifecycle management processes, and collaborate with internal teams to design programs to effectively drive artist/talent retention
• Drive the development of partner initiatives to support new feature adoption and improve artist/talent content
• Act as the champion of artist/talent needs to internal teams, creating systems for handling support issues and providing input to product, marketing, and other teams to facilitate a robust feedback loop
• Leverage insights to facilitate the development of artist communities and identify new opportunities to elevate and empower underrepresented creators
• Build reporting mechanisms to track artist/talent success and represent business results to leadership

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• 10+ years of experience working in entertainment/media or technology company
• 6+ years of experience working directly with artists, talent, or creators
• Experience in a similar leadership and management role, building and leading relationship or account management teams, and developing and scaling new processes
• Demonstrated ability to partner with executives across an organization and navigate complex cross functional relationships
• Experience working effectively across teams, writing strategy documents, and representing the interests of the customer to internal teams
• Data-driven decision making and quantitative analysis skills
• Openness to ambiguous situations that require a strong sense of ownership, drive, independence, and flexibility
• Bachelor's degree

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Entrepreneurial or startup experience, with track record for delivering results in fast-moving and demanding environments
• P&L ownership and track record to grow revenue and profitability
