About Amazon Music

The Global Podcast Marketing team within Amazon Music is looking for a driven and dynamic Marketing Manager, Podcasts to own the strategy and execution of podcast initiatives across owned and operated channels. As the Marketing Manager, you are responsible for driving podcast goals by executing enriching podcast customer experiences through effective merchandising of owned & operated marketing channels. A successful candidate will have a passion for owned channel marketing, A/B testing and strong creative instincts. The ideal candidate will have the creativity to take our global podcast strategy to the next level.

Key job responsibilities
• Serve as a cross-platform merchandising expert and drive execution of best practices and learnings.
• Continuous A/B testing of visual merchandising, including creative imagery, messaging and CTAs.
• Understand and create customer segmentation, cohorts and testing plans to optimize for customer acquisition, engagement and retention.
• Establish and optimize reports and perform detailed analysis to drive insights to increase acquisition and engagement across owned & operated marketing channels and campaigns.
• Obsess over customers and how they discover Amazon Music on the Amazon website and mobile app, Amazon devices and owned and operated entities.
• Make recommendations to optimize navigation and product page funnels, based on metrics and industry best practices.
• Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements
• Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion
• 4+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
• Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements
• Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data
• 5+ years of marketing experience
• 5+ years of relevant work experience managing online customer experience, marketing strategies, and site merchandising, preferably in consumer retail, e-commerce or subscription based business.
• Proven track record of creating customer segmentation and executing testing plans.
• Experience managing, analyzing, and communicating relevant results upwards.
• High attention to detail including precise and effective customer communications and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated success in delivering results in a fast-paced, rapid-growth environment.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented. Capable of handling multiple projects/campaigns at once amidst rapidly-changing priorities and comfortable dealing with ambiguity.
• Excellent analytic and quantitative skills - ability to use data to develop and optimize merchandising programs

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Familiarity with SQL and data extraction
• Experience working in the digital streaming industry or podcasts, including a knowledge of current trends
• Experience working across global teams
