Job Description
Amazon Games is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to join the New World team. New World is an open world MMO that pits players against the haunted wilderness of Aeternum, a mysterious island in the twilight of the Age of Exploration. What you'll do:
• Become an expert in the game's features
• Test and report on functional issues, system stability, performance and general usability
• Leverage game telemetry to identify and troubleshoot issues
• Relentlessly pursue the root-cause of defects
• Prioritize and categorize quality issues based on what will have the most impact on the customer experience
• Advocate for the customer in discussions with development peers and QA leadership
• Continuously learn and remain curious

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• 4+ years of quality assurance engineering experience
• Experience in manual testing
• 2+ Years of Game Industry Experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Platform Certification Testing (Games for Windows, TRC, TCR standards)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $91,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
