We work alongside Activision studios around the world to build the most compelling entertainment experiences ever seen.

Your role 

Activision is searching for an Associate Rendering Programmer to join its CT group based in Manchester. This is a full-time permanent position, learning and working in a friendly and inclusive environment alongside some of the best game creators in the world. You will help us craft the next generation of the massively successful Call of Duty® series of games.

Responsibilities include:
• Audit and optimize existing rendering systems.
• Help design and implement new rendering systems.
• Diagnose and solve rendering bugs.

Qualifications 
• A degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 1-2 years' professional C/C++ programming and debugging.

Skills & Attributes
Our ideal candidate for this role would possess the following skills and attributes:
• Comprehensive knowledge of graphics APIs and shaders.
• Skilled in optimization, multi-threading, profiling.
• Good communication skills and ability to work autonomously.
• Passionate about rendering and graphics technology.
Optional

These are not firm requirements, but we would be especially interested in talking to anyone with:
• Experience with mobile, either iOS or Android.
• Knowledge of DirectX12 and/or Vulkan.
• Experience with Python programming.
• Interest in contemporary rendering techniques such as raytracing.
