Your Mission

We are looking for a Trade & Partnerships Marketing Specialist to join the team. In this position you will act in a supporting role across the Franchise(s) and Franchise Team. Working cross functionally to aid the team in delivering commercial results as well as growth goals, optimising the teams outputs by supervising project actions and as the need arises, program manage large pieces of work and departments results.

In a company that serves and engages millions of players across EMEA, you will contribute to building the most sophisticated data-driven and player-centric marketing practices, and to reinventing communication with players by extending their epic entertainment experience with us beyond our games.

Priorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:

EMEA Trade Marketing:

Support the Distribution Manager in Trade marketing development and implementation through EMEA territories
• Asset management & retail implementation – handle the retail marketing toolkit
• FSDU design and retail launch
• Digital at retail project management
• Evaluation of retail campaigns

Franchise Brand Partnerships program delivery:
• Centrally support discussions with 3rd Party brand partners across all territories for Activision and Blizzard franchises and support development and execution of Brand Partnership marketing campaigns with brand partners at a global, regional, and local level.
• Collaborate with EMEA territories and cross-functional teams to implement compelling integrated campaigns that broaden audience reach to achieve brand and commercial objectives via Brand Partnerships
• Support 3P team to project manage and co-ordinate campaigns with new and existing brand partners as well as agencies across the EMEA region: supervising GTM activation as well as being responsible for the asset development and approval process
• Co-ordinate cross functional support globally and regionally across Brand, Product, PR, Legal, Digital / Social, Creative Services, Marketing Technology to ensure effective planning and execution
• Co-ordinate and implement Brand Partnership campaigns in collaboration with the 3rd Party Partnerships team that crossover into Commercial Retail partners to unlock incremental Commercial opportunities
• Own the development of the Brand Partnership Toolkit for regional and partner teams
• Support with collating presentation decks for global review, partnerships meetings, or agency pitches
• Handle the collation of partnership campaign evaluations/case studies with global and regional teams

Player Profile

Experience:
• Hold a bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
• Gained professional work experience since graduating
• Able to give examples of project / campaign implementations.
• Trade marketing experience with national retailers is crucial
• Additional experience with Brand Partnerships is preferred but not essential

Knowledge & Skills
• Data driven with a keen eye and ability to turn data into insight. Working with many different data points and reporting requirements
• Experience of working in a matrix organisation
• Previous knowledge of the gaming or entertainment industry, either gained through previous work experience or through experiencing ours and other gaming products from a player perspective is a bonus.

Attributes
• Shown experience of being a self-starter. Due to the multifaceted nature of this role it's important that the right candidate can demonstrate they work on their own initiative
• Ability to work across an organisation. This role is not for someone who likes hard lines and will be important that this individual is able to play a cross team role
• Effective time management and prioritisation skills needed
