Your Mission

Priorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so the Lead Help Desk Technician role includes, but is not limited to, the following duties and responsibilities:
• Hardware/software/network troubleshooting.
• Install desktop and server software applications and patching.
• Serve as a point of escalation for Help Desk Technicians.
• Keeping IT Department clean and organized.
• Additional duties as required.
• Building and maintaining virtual servers.
• Configuration, installation, and maintenance of Linux servers.
• Configuration, installation, and maintenance of storage systems.
• Supervises IT support staff and manages day to day workload.
• Assist in identifying short- and long-term needs for studio so the department can meet company growth plan.
• Create schedules for the IT team that accommodate to project needs.
• Serves as lead for technology projects when required.
• Manage IT purchasing for studio.
• Have outstanding problem solving and communication skills.

Player Profile

Minimum Requirements:
• Ability to assess users support needs as they arise, solve, or escalate issues to team members as required.
• Active Directory, file share permissions, and account maintenance experience.
• Experience with on prem and cloud-based infrastructure.
• Experience with Linux and Windows Server.
• Experience with Scripting languages (PowerShell, python etc.).
• Experience with SQL queries.
• Basic networking knowledge.
• Flexibility to regularly rotate through different technical specialties and skill sets.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Create and maintain documentation for the IT knowledge base.
• 4+ years previous experience working on a helpdesk.

Extra Points:
• Associate's / Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• Certification as IT Technician will be an advantage (e.g. CompTIA A+).
• 2+ Experience in leading IT or other technology teams.
