Your Mission
Our team is expanding to build practical, production-ready generative AI systems that support the creation of interactive entertainment. We are looking for a Full Stack Engineer to help transform emerging AI capabilities into scalable tools, services, and workflows that empower game studios and creative teams.
This role reports directly to the Senior Director of AI Strategy and works closely with AI researchers, engineers, product teams, and game studios across the organization. As a hands-on builder, you will help bring new AI-driven capabilities into production, building systems that support developers, artists, designers, and operational teams across the game development ecosystem.
You will contribute to high-impact projects that combine generative AI, traditional machine learning, and modern software engineering to power next-generation tools, content workflows, and studio platforms
This is an onsite/hybrid position in Santa Monica, CA, Sherman Oaks, or Vancouver, BC.
What you bring to the table
Priorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:
• Design, build, and maintain full stack applications that integrate generative
AI and machine learning capabilities into studio tools, developer platforms, and production workflows.
• Develop scalable backend services, APIs, and data pipelines that power AI- driven systems used across game development and studio operations.
• Build intuitive, responsive interfaces that allow developers, artists, and creative teams to interact effectively with AI-powered tools.
• Rapidly prototype and experiment with new AI-driven capabilities, validating ideas and evolving successful prototypes into reliable production systems.
• Apply a range of AI and machine learning techniques, selecting the right approaches for real-world production environments and creative workflows.
• Implement and integrate AI systems using modern orchestration approaches and emerging standards such as Model Context Protocol to support modular, extensible AI workflows.
• Partner cross-functionally with research, platform, product, security, and studio engineering teams to translate emerging capabilities into practical tools and services.
• Own systems end to end, including architecture, implementation, deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
• Contribute to shared platforms, tooling, and engineering practices that accelerate AI adoption across studios and development teams.
• Help ensure AI systems are reliable, performant, secure, and responsibly deployed in production environments
Player Profile
Minimum Requirements:

Experience
• Strong proficiency with Python and JavaScript or TypeScript, with 5+ years of experience building backend services and modern frontend applications.
• Experience designing and shipping full stack software in production environments, with a focus on reliability, performance, and maintainability.
• Experience integrating AI into real-world applications, including model inference, orchestration approaches such as tool calling, retrieval augmented systems, or protocols like Model Context Protocol.
• Experience working with cloud infrastructure such as Azure, Google Cloud Platform, or similar environments, including deploying and operating services at scale

Knowledge & Skills
• Working knowledge of machine learning fundamentals and applied AI techniques, including familiarity with deep learning approaches such as convolutional neural networks and generative models.
• Comfort working with containerization and modern infrastructure practices such as Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud managed services.
Key Attributes
• Ability to operate in fast moving, ambiguous environments, balancing experimentation with delivery and iteration.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical partners.
Extra Points:

Experience
• Experience working in the game industry or adjacent digital entertainment fields such as streaming, media platforms, or interactive content.
• Experience with computer vision, multimodal systems, or 3D representations.
• Experience building internal platforms, developer tools, or systems used by large engineering or creative teams
• Familiarity with C or C++.

Knowledge & Skills
• Familiarity with game development pipelines, studio tooling, or creative production workflows.
• Exposure to MLOps practices, monitoring, or operating machine learning systems in production.
• Familiarity with C or C++.
