Your Mission
As a Data Scientist, you will develop tools and models within our Decision Tools, which include building scalable products that empower other data scientists and business analysts within our Global Analytics, Game Studios, Finance, and Marketing organizations. You will be responsible for:
• Building AI, ML, and DS products.
• Contributing reusable code to internal software libraries, following software engineering best practices.
• Researching and implementing novel Data Science and Machine Learning approaches, incorporating these solutions into our codebase and products.
• Translating requirements from cross-disciplinary teams in Game Operations, Marketing, Game Studios, and Business Planning into data solutions.
• Synthesizing disparate data, detecting and working around broken data, and investigating every possibility until you have a thorough solution.
You will leverage your experience to steer data-driven discussions, improve internal processes, and communicate results to technical and non-technical colleagues. You will be a trusted member of an established team of data scientists and machine learning engineers, focused on ensuring player satisfaction in our games. You will accomplish this by:
• Enhancing our A/B testing framework with new methodologies for broader data scientist utilization.
• Developing and supporting a Propensity ML model factory, incorporating novel time series models leveraging player data.
• Creating new predictive models, such as for forecasting financial sales.
• Contributing to a Generative AI-powered anomaly detection product for the analytics team.
• Being a tenacious and self-directed problem solver.
• Being team-oriented, and able to build long-lasting and collaborative relationships effectively.

Player Profile
Minimum Requirements:
• BS in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Operations Research, or another quantitative field.
• 2+ years professional experience as a Data Scientist.
• Interest in implementing prototype-to-production engineering skills in Python, including best practices such as unit testing, source control, proper documentation, library packaging, versioning, testing, containerization, CI/CD, and task scheduling.
• General machine learning expertise, i.e. regression, classification, clustering algorithms
• Professional MLOPs habits around model validation, testing, and tracking.
• Interest in inferential statistics, e.g. statistical power analysis, significance testing, t-tests.
• Engineering experience in at least one cloud platform such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
Bonus Points:
• Experience with LLMs and RAG based workflows.
• Prior experience building software products.
• Experience with time series ML modeling and Generative AI.
• Video game enthusiasm with a solid understanding of the gameplay mechanics of first-person shooters.

In the US, the standard base pay range for this role is $71,300.00 - $131,906.00 Annual. These values reflect the expected base pay range of new hires across all US locations. Ultimately, your specific range and offer will be based on several factors, including relevant experience, performance, and work location. Your Talent Professional can share this role's range details for your local geography during the hiring process. In addition to a competitive base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for incentive compensation. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed.
