Job Description

ABC News is looking for a Producer to support Good Morning America! We are the top-rated morning show, and we are looking for an experienced producer that will be responsible for creating all types of show content, with a primary focus on live studio and remote production that could air at any point in the 7am-9am broadcast!

The ideal candidate should be prepared to work a flexible schedule. This position's schedule and hours will be set based on show need but could include weekends, overnights, and early morning hours.

Responsibilities:
• Booking guests for lifestyle segments as well as breaking news stories
• Travel for breaking news
• Produce every aspect of live television and taped segments
• Live studio production, including graphics, props and set pieces
• Field producing for live remotes
• Heavy writing and making strong editorial decisions
• Collaborate well with team members

Basic Qualifications:
• Five plus years of TV production
• Exceptional writing
• Proficient with live studio production, including graphics, props and set pieces
• Proficient in field producers for live remotes
• Must have strong background in breaking news crash producing
• Strong research and organizational skills are a must with ability to work creatively under extreme deadlines

Required Education:
• BA or BS from a four-year accredited college or university

The hiring range for this position in New York, NY is $99,400 to $136,730 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
