Do you want be a part of the dynamic team that brings America their Early Morning News? ABC News' Early Morning News team, which consists of America This Morning/World News Now & Good Morning America, is looking for a Coordinating Producer to join the team!
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the production staff that edits pieces for overnight news and/or weekend Good Morning America on deadline while also crash-editing one or more pieces on your own.
• Assist in pre-screening all pieces before air with an eye towards the highest possible production quality, editorial content and accuracy.
• Provide clear feedback and direction to make improvements to pieces.
• Contribute to the editorial direction of the shows.
• Assist with recruiting and mentoring producer/editors.
Required Qualifications:
• Proficiency in Avid Editing with experience in local or network news production.
• Must be organized and have the ability to work under tight deadlines and keep calm and focused in a high-pressure environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience writing and producing taped pieces a plus.
Required Education:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

The hiring range for this position in New York, NY is $138,000 to $189,700 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
