Senior HR Business Partner

Job Description

A24 is looking for a Senior Human Resources Business Partner to join our team in New York. In this position, you will play a critical role in driving and supporting various people-related initiatives. You will also be responsible for developing productive relationships with various client groups as their main point of contact for all things HR, including org design/ planning, learning and development, and performance management. The work that you'll be doing will be highly cross functional and completed in close partnership with various teams and stakeholders within the People Operations Team and broader business. This role requires someone creative and empathetic with the ability to listen and influence. The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience in organizational design and compensation practices and programs. This role is based in New York City, and may require some travel.

Initial Responsibilities
• Own activities and lead programs that span employee lifecycle in client groups, including recruitment, onboarding, coaching, development, and offboarding
• Act as a credible advisor (and trusted confidant) to employees, managers, and business leaders and a thoughtful change champion for the organization as a whole
• Develop and empower managers to take accountability for the People needs and challenges within their teams
• Respond to HR-related questions and matters that span a wide range of topics (including employee relations, immigration, benefits, compensation, and onboarding/offboarding)
• Design and successfully implement key People Team programs, processes, and tools
• Partner with the rest of the People Operations team, leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to design and launch programs and strategy related to DEI, operational excellence, leadership development, employee engagement, compensation and more
• Work with hiring managers to scope new roles, devise a hiring plan, and drive full-cycle recruiting processes
• Regularly share best practices with the People team to ensure alignment across our approaches
• Analyze People trends and metrics in partnership with the rest of the team to develop targeted solutions, programs, and policies as we scale
• Co-manage HR generalist
• Ad hoc projects and initiatives

Qualifications
• 8+ years of relevant HR experience, 5+ years as an HRBP or similar role, ideally at a high growth company
• Demonstrable experience in organizational design and development
• Experience with compensation philosophy and programs
• Strong cultural competency and ability to engage on topics of identity
• In depth knowledge of HR best practices
• Demonstrated experience evaluating, implementing, and rolling out company-wide initiatives; strong project management and execution skills are critical
• Confidence to jump in and use initiative and judgment to solve complex people issues without relying on solely policy and procedure
• Creative problem-solving skills with solutions-oriented mindset
• Leader with strong emotional intelligence

• Bright, self-directed and relentlessly curious
• Ability to stay steadfast in a fast paced environment
• Ability to travel as needed

Our target salary range for this role is between $160,000 and $175,000. We do not use formal job titles internally and similarly named positions may have different compensation levels. Actual starting salary within the range will depend on various considerations, including: work experience, skills, specializations, and training. This role is also eligible for an annual performance bonus, including both cash and equity components, competitive healthcare, as well as other employee benefits.
