The Role

The Assistant Manager, Social + Influencer Relations is responsible for building our influencer program and supporting our primary social channels, IG and TikTok. He/she/they will develop a comprehensive Influencer marketing strategy spanning gifting, paid content, as well as an affiliate/ambassador program. In addition, he/she/they support our overall social programming by managing posting and comments, helping ideate and create cutting-edge beauty and non-beauty content, and monitoring social channels and analytics.

The Assistant Manager, Social + Influencer relations reports to the Director of Social, and also works closely with both our founder, Donni Davy and the company GM. For the right candidate, this is an incredible opportunity for high-level exposure, on a trend- setting, well-funded brand, that is at the forefront of beauty creativity.

The ideal candidate is deeply rooted in social trends, with strong knowledge and interest in both beauty and entertainment. He/she/they should be highly organized, a self- starter, enjoy fast-paced work and the agility of an early-stage company, and is ready to layer tried and true strategies with new approaches and a creative touch.

Responsibilities

Influencer Management
• Manage evergreen and launch-specific influencer campaigns from start to finish including gifting and paid one-to-one influencer partnerships across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and other emerging platforms

Gifting
• Drive development of brand and launch-specific gifting strategies under supervision from Marketing leadership
• Develop, manage and track influencer list
• Identify new influencers (all levels) for gifting and paid partnerships
• Oversee daily send-outs to influencers, brand partners, makeup artists, celebrities
• Built authentic, professional relationships with influencers (across beauty and entertainment) and their teams

Affiliate Program
• Collaborate with Head of Growth to develop affiliate marketing network and build revenue-driving influencer partnerships
• Track and analyze ROI

Social Listening, Monitoring, and Engagement
• Monitor comments and discussions to proactively identify potential issues and opportunities
• Identify emerging trends and FAQs to inform content strategy
• Monitor competitive brand activity and key platform and category influencers
• Interact with brand social community via comments, DMs, and responsive content
• Collaborate with PD to both answer product related inquiries, as well as utilize follower base for product/market research
• Own social monitoring software and analysis

Analytics
• Oversee and manage reporting on all influencer campaigns, partnerships, and launches, along with weekly recaps
• Own social reporting tools and vendor relationships
• Track and analyze KPIs on content and partnerships

Social Content
• Support development of content calendar and assets
• Oversee scheduling and posting
• Assist in social asset creation: manage freelance designer as needed, support brand founder as needed, assist in production of how-to videos and other content
• Manage giveaways and community events

Experience
• 2-3 years of Social Media Marketing and Influencer experience preferred. Must have experience with beauty, fashion, or consumer lifestyle brands
• Proficient in relevant social channels including Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, Snapchat and YouTube as well as emerging channels
• Strong understanding of analytics and ability to synthesize content-driven solutions from audience data
• Ability to build strong, authentic relationships with influencers
• Must have a voracious appetite and passion for Social Media, excitement for learning, and be open to new experiences and challenges
• Personable and flexible with demands and changes in a fast-paced business environment and the ability to adapt quickly in an ever-changing Social Media landscape
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and professional
• Strong personal affinity for beauty and beauty trends
