A&E Television Networks, LLC seeks a Senior Platform Engineer in New York, New York to develop and deliver technical solutions and key platforms technologies such as Citrix, Windows Servers, Active Directory and a variety of services hosted on AWS and Azure

MORE ABOUT WHAT YOU'LL DO:
• Specific duties include:
• Developing tools for infrastructure management, automation, monitoring, and operations for the infrastructure services team (25%);
• Creating, maintaining, and supporting the technical production, including television and web-based productions, for A&E's Citrix platform (25%);
• Designing, building, and deploying new technical solutions to AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms (25%);
• Developing solutions using various DevOps toolset, such as terraform, chef, PowerShell and python (15%);
• Performing Level 3 support activities (5%); and
• Researching and investigating new (up-to-date) technology ideas and programs to ensure that proof of concepts (POCs) and existing applications are accurately tested for design improvements and technical functionality (5%).

YOUR STORY:
• Must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, plus five (5) years of experience in job offered, Software Engineer, Systems Administrator or related role.
• Must have experience architecting Citrix solutions using Citrix XenApp or other Citrix platforms.
• Must have experience utilizing script language Powershell for automation.
• Must have experience supporting key platforms technologies including Window Servers, Active Directory, and Citrix XenApp.
• Must have experience designing IT infrastructure and applications using Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Azure Clouds.
• Must have experience utilizing Azure DevOps to develop and maintain the infrastructure/application components.
