Work Locations: With the exception of some select roles that have in-office requirements, A+E Networks operates on a flexible model that allows for remote, hybrid or full time in office work (in certain locales).

Job Description

The Manager, Distribution Product Development will act as a key liaison with Multichannel Video Programmer Distributors (MVPDs) to drive the value associated with A+E Networks' VOD, TVE and other digital media products in the pay TV market. Through coordinating the delivery of content and information to clients, optimizing internal workflows, monitoring the performance of content on clients' sites/apps and other activities, this person will play a critical role ensuring client satisfaction and driving revenue for A+E.

MORE ABOUT WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Product Management – Lead and/or participate in daily, weekly, and ad hoc meetings with other internal departments at A+E to align projects, process enhancements and changes, and other topics to successfully orchestrate pay TV initiatives specifically TVE and VOD products.

Partner Management – Conduct regular product/operations calls with certain traditional MVPD and digital MVPD clients and keep track of progress against ongoing client initiatives. Develop and maintain positive client interactions/relationships.

Contract Compliance – Monitor pay TV fulfillment to ensure business practices are consistent with terms of agreements with vendors and clients. Provide this business guidance back to relevant stakeholders to prioritize projects accordingly.

Partner Onboarding – Coordinate launch of fulfillment efforts for pay TV STB, TV Everywhere (TVE) and Over-the-Top (OTT) deliverables. Assist Ad Sales with coordination of dynamic ad insertion (DAI) implementations on distributors' sites and apps and contribute to growth of off-domain revenue. Consult with internal stakeholders and ensure fulfillment arrangements are consistent with A+E capabilities and resources. Assist Digital Media to evaluate best practices to undertake integration efforts to onboard MVPD subscribers to authenticate on A+E Operated-and-Owned (O+O) sites/apps.

Business Development – Work with supervisor to pursue additional revenue generation through the launch of new products and services. Assist on collecting reporting data from distribution partners to support Research and Distribution Analytics teams as they understand and track performance of A+E content on pay TV platforms. Support Distribution Marketing to ensure smooth rollout of marketing stunts.

WHAT YOU'LL LEARN:

As part of the Distribution arm of A+E, you'll gain a 360-degree view of how our content gets to the viewer. Through the Sales team, you'll learn about the contractual relationships A+E has with our multichannel and digital video programming distributors (M/DMVPDs) – and how to close that deal! In Distribution Marketing, you'll brainstorm new and innovative ways to promote our content across Set-top-box, TV Everywhere and Over-the-top platforms. In the Operations group you'll get the behind-the-scenes look at mission-critical tasks around technical support, contract management and compliance and data integrity and analysis. And finally, through the Product Development team you'll gain an unique understanding of how we optimize content scheduling and delivery across the a rapidly changing media landscape.

YOUR STORY: [+BEHAVIORS] (what you need to have)
• College degree required.
• Minimum 5-years' experience in project or product management within the television/cable industry.
• Strong presentation skills with demonstrable experience presenting to a variety of stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Digital media experience and general familiarity with VOD or TV Everywhere markets preferred.
• Knowledge of digital asset management tools a plus.

Compensation

Annual Pay Range: $73,229 - $91,766

Annual Incentive Target: 12.50%
*The annual/hourly pay range displayed serves as a good faith estimate of the

minimum and maximum base pay range for this role. Compensation for the role will

be based on a number of different factors such as a candidate's qualifications, skills,
