Content Services and Operations consists of a wide range of media centric roles. We are responsible for managing the entire life cycle of A+E's programming. This is where we produce, transform, broadcast and distribute content as well as run the technical infrastructure for the Media Supply chain. Reporting to the Director, Localization, this position is responsible for supervising localization initiatives for A+E content across a variety of regions, including dubbing, subtitling and track buybacks. This individual is responsible for developing the strategic groundwork to handle higher volumes of localization in support of global expansion of streaming platform delivery. The Localization Program Manager also tracks channel partner & sales client tech requirements for production, localization and content delivery.

MORE ABOUT WHAT YOU'LL DO:
• Project manage end-to-end workflows for dubbing, subtitling, streaming platform deliveries, track buybacks, and localized archive assessment. Manage requirements gathering and the day-to-day flow of information for all assigned projects.
• Onboard localization vendors; distribute and review A+E technical requirements, workflows and schedules. Track vendor progress on assigned projects, ensuring that workflow issues and client rejections are resolved quickly. Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that all client communication is fast and accurate.
• Partner with sales and legal during the deal negotiation process to provide guidance on localization requirements, material costs, program availability, and delivery timelines. Work with business development executives to answer questions about existing language tracks and costs to access.
• Act as the point person for Partner Services on deals in the pipeline that require localization or track buybacks, providing input on availability, specs and costs.
• Develop and implement SOPs to support localization requirements for new business initiatives and on-going business with global platforms including Netflix, Roku, Discovery+ and Amazon.
• Stay at the forefront of localization best practices across territories and keep abreast of channel partner processes through updates of an annual Ops Survey. Research and participate in testing new technology that facilitates the localization, including machine learning, AI and synthesized voices.
• Manage assigned budget lines and assist with accruals, forecasting and annual RFP process. Submit, track and reconcile invoices related to dubbing and subtitling. Make recommendations for cost efficiencies and ensure that projects adhere to budget parameters.

WHAT YOU'LL LEARN:

YOUR STORY:
• BA or BS in Media, Communications or related field
• 4-5 years of experience in client services or account management, production services, media supply chain and/or digital distribution a plus.
• Knowledge of global localization and technical standards required.
• Knowledge of digital media platforms, cloud-based archives, general project management workflows, encoding and post-production processes preferred.
• High level of diplomacy and excellent client service skills in a fast-paced, customer-driven environment. Values diversity and interaction with partners from different cultures and global territories.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must interact effectively and collaboratively with distribution partners and management across all levels of the organization

Please note project assignment associates are engaged to provide service to A+E Networks on a temporary basis in connection with a specific project. Project assignment associates are hired and employed through a third party vendor with a duration/tenure of no longer than eighteen (18) months.
