Content Services and Operations consists of a wide range of media-centric roles. We are responsible for managing the entire life cycle of A+E's programming. This is where we produce, transform, broadcast and distribute content as well as run the technical infrastructure for the Media Supply chain. The Associate Producer of S&P Remediation is an experienced television professional with a deep understanding of factual, reality and scripted content; knowledgeable in versioning and mastering for linear broadcast and global distribution. You are highly organized and agile; proficient at juggling multiple assignments and balancing the competing demands of distribution deadlines and stressors such as late-arriving materials, shifting priorities and ad hoc requests. You are nimble, resilient and equally comfortable working on diverse content spanning the brand portfolio, working across multiple brands and teams to help balance resources when needed. The Associate Producer of S&P Remediation is responsible for supporting the Producer and remediation processes to render select content in A+E's legacy programming archive suitable for global distribution and monetization per S&P guidelines.


As the Associate Producer of S&P Remediation, you are responsible for requesting, organizing, preparing and coordinating assets, materials and S&P notes for edit sessions; liaising with the S&P department and stakeholders, tracking and reporting project status and performing metadata entry and reconciliation in various platforms to supporting the S&P Remediation initiative. You will be exposed to scripted, non-scripted, factual, reality and live programming, and must understand how storytelling and narrative thread apply to each of these distinctive genres to preserve the integrity of the program content throughout the remediation process for our linear broadcast platforms and global distribution.

The Associate Producer of S&P Remediation reports to the Supervising Producers of our Stamford, CT facility. While based in Stamford, this role will be required to begin their tenure with us by working from home as per current company policies, and will transition to a hybrid on-site/ remote model at a future date. Candidates must have suitable bandwidth at home to stream video and work successfully on our business platforms.

You communicate effectively with your supervisor, team members and partner groups to keep workflows on track, resolve issues and ensure that mastering standards and deadlines are met. You welcome and encourage feedback; are able to confidently consider and apply creative input; and provide thoughtful, kind feedback and insights to others in the interest of improving business processes and relationships.
Organizational skills – you understand that organization and preparation are cornerstones of creativity and prepare materials to maximize efficiency and enhance the creative process between the Producer and editors. You're able to multi-task, pivot quickly, and prioritize assignments in a fast-paced environment while protecting the quality and integrity of your work.

Technical knowledge – you possess a firm understanding of the production/post production process used to create non-fiction program content, and can apply your industry expertise to resolve problems and avoid risk. You are familiar with common video file formats and standards; audio mixing and stem creation; closed captions; and the process of encoding and delivering file-based media assets. You are comfortable with related technology including nonlinear editing platforms such as Avid Media Composer and Premiere Pro; Adobe Creative Suite; and Media Asset Management (MAM) systems. Experience with cloud-based workflows, Video Description, 4K and/or UHD a plus.

More about you
• 1-2 years professional experience as a producer in a cable or network environment, production company or equivalent/related experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Television Production, Communications or equivalent.
• Working Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Airtable and SmartSheets a plus.
• Able to work evening and/or weekend hours when required.
• Experience with live broadcasts a plus.
• Bi-lingual, fluent in written and spoken Spanish and English desired but not required.
