Production Operations and Engineering consists of a wide range of media centric roles. We are responsible for managing the entire life cycle of A+E's programming. This is where we produce, transform, broadcast and distribute content as well as run the tech infrastructure for the Media Supply chain. The Administrator will be a key member of the Global Acquisitions team who has a background in media operations or post production, is comfortable with video technical specifications and quality control, and is skilled at communicating and documenting technical and non-technical information while working independently and within an established team.
• Documents strategic objectives that will drive alignment across the Global Acquisitions Team for department initiatives and technical workflows.
• Work closely with the team to create, update, and distribute SOPs, Technical Documents and maintain comprehensive project documentation related to technical workflows.
• Assist in developing dashboard views and status reports of current incoming programs by utilizing Airtable and other software and internal systems.
• Track and follow up on priority agenda items for weekly team meetings.
• Be trained to provide back up, when needed, to TE scheduling team and other Global Acquisitions administrators.
• Manage relationships across multiple departments and find innovative ways to get things done in a fast-paced environment.
• Act as liaison to other cross functional groups such as Post Production, Distribution, Programing, etc.


The Administrator will perform duties that will support a team that tracks, receives, and evaluates over 300 program masters a month from dozens of production partners that are then distributed across all of A+E Networks channels and international partners. They will assist in the outward communication to these internal and external partners to facilitate and inquire about onboardings, asset milestones, and technical specs.

In this role, you'll build relationships with a variety of groups within the A+E Content Operations groups and maintain updated information on supplier contacts and departmental documentation. You're well-versed in Airtable and Excel and can create and manage project trackers with ease.

The Administrator will also be trained to provide supplemental support for TE Scheduling and Global Acquisitions Admins when needed. This experience will allow the Administrator to better understand the processes they are tracking along with providing critical coverage during busier time periods.

• BA or BS in Media, Communications, or related field preferred
• Three or more years' experience in client services or account management, production services, media supply chain and/or digital distribution.
• Knowledge of broadcast standards and post production processes preferred.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, AirTable and Sharepoint.
• There is the opportunity to work in a ''blended'' environment from either on-premises or remote locations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
