The Role:

The Senior Copywriter will be responsible for creative concepting and production across a major telcom brand. The work is grounded in the social space, so you must be knowledgeable across all social platforms with a deep understanding of how to take advantage of what they offer. During the MLB season, you will be dedicated to developing and executing all social assets in the baseball space – some of which is executed in real-time. You must be well-versed about baseball and passionate about baseball culture! Additionally, you will work with your cross-discipline team and Art Director counterpart to concept high-level platforms as well as how they are brought to life through execution.

Qualifications:
• Strong background Writing, Journalism, Advertising, Marketing or relevant field
• Experience developing social first ideas that build around culturally relevant moments, or react to things happening in culture
• Ability to think/create on your feet and move at the speed of social, especially during real-time design development phases
• Strong understanding of the different social platforms and how to take advantage of what they offer
• Push creative boundaries by constantly pursuing new concepts and approaches, bringing new ideas to the table
• Articulate ideas in concise language, effectively communicating concepts to internal leaders and non-design audiences
• A passion for and deep knowledge of baseball is a must!
• Takes a profound interest in the world around you – culture, music, film, sport, art, entertainment
• Must be able to work autonomously – taking ownership of your workload and able to juggle several projects at one time
• Takes an interest in your counterpart's profession with the ability to think visually and express visual direction of ideas at a good level
• Approachable, collaborative, results-oriented, problem-solver who can both provide and take direction well
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal – not afraid to have difficult discussions
• Team building skills, proactively seeking opportunities to develop team members
