Intern - Sports, WCPO

WCPO, Cincinnati's ABC affiliate owned by The E.W. Scripps Company is looking for a summer newsroom sports intern. If you're a journalism student in college considering a career as a broadcast journalist, this opportunity is for you. This internship is part-time and paid.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
• Hands-on work in all facets of broadcast news production
• Create content for multiple platforms
• Gain experience in a competitive environment
• Learn broadcast producing, writing and editing skills
• Other duties as assigned

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
• Enrollment at accredited university as sophomore or above and in good academic standing
• Be available to work June-August 2024 (specific dates TBD)
• Be able to relocate to the market, if necessary

WHAT YOU'LL BRING
• Strong desire to learn and succeed in the industry
• Ability to work as part of a team

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
• Normal work newsroom/office environment
