Job Description
The WB Games User Research team bridges the link between players and game developers. As a connective tissue that shapes product direction, the UR team empowers decision-making by delivering actionable insights that reflect real player needs and expectations.Your Role Accountabilities
• Install and test builds on PC, PlayStation, Xbox and Switch consoles
• Recruit participants for studies from internal and external databases
• Moderate 1:1 usability studies and group playtests in lab locations in Knutsford and London
• Set up lab for playtesting in Knutsford and London
Assisting with:
• Assist in study design, survey creation and scripting
• Assist in coding data, analyzing telemetry, and report writing
By the end of the program the intern would have firsthand experience in running user research studies for games in development during various phases of production.
Qualifications & Experience
Essential skills:
• Passionate and experienced video game player
• Strong understanding of UX principles, quant and qual methods, and research tools (via coursework or experience)
• Troubleshooting hardware and software on PCs
• Strong verbal communication skills to deal with groups of people
• Strong written communication skills for digital communication
Nice to have skills:
• Python for data analysis
• Prompt engineering
• Prototyping and wireframing

Hybrid Working - This role is advertised as a Hybrid work model, that combines remote and in-office work, following our current company policy and to be agreed with your Line Manager.
