The Job
The WM Sports Data Strategy intern will help align data strategies across various sports brands and functional groups. The intern will gather data needs, gaps and requirements from various stakeholders, document and analyze the feasibility of various internal and external data solutions. The intern will work with the WM Sports Data Strategy team to develop an enterprise-level data roadmap that will be used to guide future development and growth for each brand's data and CRM goals.
The Daily:
• Meet with stakeholders across functional groups to understand and capture data related needs, gaps and requirements
• Work with the WM Sports Data Strategy team to document and align data needs and identify internal and external solutions
• Familiarize self with the various technology platforms used by WM Sports Data Strategy
• Familiarize self with the various sports brands and business units within each brand (E.G. NCAA Shop vs. NCAA March Madness)
The Essentials:
• Bachelor of Science degree in Business, Management, Analytics, Data Science, Mathematics.
• Master's degree preferred
- Experience working with digital consumer data or other large and complex data sets
• Excellent business and interpersonal communication skills (written and verbal). Ability to present technical topics clearly and concisely to non-technical colleagues
• Knowledge of a scripting language, such as SQL, Python or Javascript Knowledge of various data structures, such as JSON and XML
- Experience working with analytics platforms, such as Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics Internship Program:
• Students must be currently enrolled in a college degree program for the full duration of the internship
• Company-issued computer provided for the duration of the internship program.

Internship Program
• Students must be currently enrolled in a college degree program for the full duration of the internship
• Fall 2022 program dates are October 3rd – December 9th; must be available for full program duration
• Part-time schedule (16-24 hours/week) required
• Company-issued computer or secured remote access provided for the duration of the internship program.
