Job Description
The JobAs a Software Engineering Intern you will collaborate with WBD's international tech team on several projects for software development. This role offers hands-on learning in cloud technologies, modern development practices, and the entertainment industry's media ecosystem.
Daily Activities & Main Responsibilities
• Create pieces of software based on pre-defined requirements.
• Execute and document developments.
• Detect errors on the developments before they reach the end users.
• Support the setup and maintenance of development environments.
• Develop simple or modular tasks under supervision.
• Participate in internal training sessions and skill transfer initiatives.
• Collaborate with global engineering teams across LATAM, Europe, and Asia.
• Learn and work with modern cloud-based technologies and WBD's internal tech stack.
Qualifications & Experience
• Current enrolled in at a bachelor´s degree program in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related fields, with a graduation conferral date between July 2027 – December 2027.
• Upper–intermediate English preferred, with openness to participate in meetings with global teams.
• Analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to learn quickly, work collaboratively, and communicate clearly.
• Capacity for detailed documentation.
• Motivation to work in a global, fast-paced technology environment.
Technologies you'll working with
• Java (Spring Boot).
• Relational and non-relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB).
• Basic AWS components (S3, Lambda, API Gateway, CloudWatch).
• Python.
Nice To Have
• Personal or academic projects related to the team's technologies.
• Certifications or online coursework related to the team's technologies.
