Job Description
The JobWork closely with the D&I Manager supporting the development of multiplatform performance materials for our internal partners, including competitor analysis and market trends.
The intern will assist with various operational tasks such as, but not limited to: data analysis, delivering updates for reports, preparing newsletters for internal and external partners.
The Daily – Major Activities
As a Data & Insights Intern at Warner Bros. Discovery, you will be an integral part of our team, assisting in the analysis and interpretation of data related to ad sales, sports content, gaming, affiliates, streaming, marketing, and linear channels. According with the assigned manager or specialist, the intern will have specific routines and task of work.
The main tasks are:
• Develop and maintain updated reports and analysis (70%)
• Responsible for keeping our assigned reports updated for the business routines of Ad Sales, Content & Programming (especially regarding our sports pillar) and Market Trends.
• Learn and improve efficiently our current processes of data analysis (20%)
• Our demand of information is related with business routines and processes of decision. Efficiency is a key factor that is open to suggestions and improvements.
• Support the assigned area in specific tasks related with preparation of papers, presentations, or information decks (10%)
• For this position there are weekly, monthly, and quarterly routines of analysis of our audience, market, advertisers and competitors. However, Data & Insights works in special projects, adhoc requests and preparation of key information for the main stakeholders of the company. The intern will have the possibility to be part of this specific tasks according with the time available of the core responsibilities.
The Essentials
• Current enrolled in at a bachelor´s degree program in Business Administration, Marketing, Advertising, Media Management or related areas with a graduation conferral date between July 2027 – December 2027
• Strong curiosity and willingness to learn about audiences, consumer behavior, and media trends.
• Solid numerical skills and comfort working with data.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and PowerPoint.
• Ability to describe analytical processes and extract clear, actionable insights.
• Interest in staying informed about industry trends, particularly in sports and media.
• Upper‑Intermediate English.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and accountability.
The Nice to Have:
• Familiarity with research tools and methodologies
• Able to stablish good relationship internally and externally.
• Basic knowledge of databases or prior exposure to SQL is a plus.
