JOB SUMMARY: The Marketing Intern will work with the Director of Creative Content to help develop content, write copy, and assist our creative leadership team as we continue to build our in-house creative group.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF POSITION INCLUDES, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
• Write copy for Texas Rangers marketing materials, including broadcast reads, emails and marketing pages on rangers.com.
• Assist with commercial/content shoots, as well as the creation, editing, and organization of content for our broadcast and social channels.
• Work with our Creative Director as needed to explore trends and technology, including the use of AI in our marketing communications efforts.
• Work with our Art Director and design team to assist with creative asset management.
• Assist with marketing audits of other teams, brands and events – including the 2023 All-Star Game.
• Team with social media and content managers to generate concepts and ideas.
• Contribute to our creative culture of curiosity.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Ability to write clear, benefit-oriented copy
• Ability and willingness to write in our brand voice
• Ability to communicate clearly with team members and internal partners
• Ability to multi-task and work under tight deadlines
• Familiarity with and ability to work with our creative team in Adobe Creative Suite is a bonus
• Willingness to learn
• Ability to distill lots of input into a succinct output
• A healthy curiosity about marketing, persuasion, strategy, and human nature
• Positive attitude
