Job Description

This Summer Internship is from May/June through August 30th (start and end dates are flexible based on school schedules) and all candidates must be able to work 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday in the specified location. This position is ideal for a student enrolled in an accredited college or university. A hybrid work structure may or may not be available.

DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION:

The Participations Residuals and Audit team is responsible for contractually-obligated third-party participations and residuals. The group reviews talent, investor, and co-finance partner agreements to determine obligations, sets up statement or residual payment parameters, and reports in accordance with agreements. The team works closely with all business units across the company to ensure accuracy and completeness of information.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist with Participations statement processing, cleaning up stakeholder database in anticipation of auto-processing ARIBA payments, and basic agreement abstracting with potential for setting up statements in PAWS, our reporting system.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Basic finance principles, strong reading comprehension skills with contract reading a plus, familiarity with MS Office applications, good verbal and written communication skills, ability to work independently, and to work onsite in Culver City office.

The anticipated base salary for this position is $19/hour. This role may also qualify for comprehensive benefits. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location of the position.
